Neurodivergents Take a Stand provides non-legal guidance and practical support, including:
- Clear, accessible information about employment tribunals
- Help with understanding legal terminology
- Assistance with completing forms (e.g. ET1)
- Support in preparing for hearings
- Access to a community of people with shared lived experience
Volunteering Opportunity
Neurodivergents Take a Stand is committed to ensuring that its service users can easily access free, high-quality employment law advice.
To achieve this, the charity is seeking to build partnerships with employment law solicitors willing to volunteer their time and expertise. The charity operates remotely so all volunteering would take place online.
Time commitment
Neurodivergents Take A Stand is newly formed so currently has a small user group. They are completely flexible about how much time volunteer solicitors wish to give to supporting their service users and what days/times the volunteering takes place.
Person specification
Solicitors with a current practising certificate specialising in employment law.
