We help set up and maintain sustainable clinic partnerships between LawWorks members, law schools and advice agencies to help address unmet legal need in the community.
Clinics on the LawWorks Clinics Network provide free initial advice to individuals, predominantly in the area of social welfare law on either a drop-in or appointment basis.
Advice is delivered face-to-face, over the telephone and in some circumstances via Skype.
Thousands of solicitors, barristers, trainees and law students volunteer across the LawWorks Clinics Network; however, more volunteers are always needed.
The project currently supports a network of over 290 clinics across England and Wales.
There are many and varied opportunities to volunteer for lawyers regardless of your area of legal practice or your level of experience. Current volunteering opportunities are advertised on our website here.
