Legal Clinic Administrator, Kings College London

Salary: £18,845 - £20,797 including London Weighting Allowance (£32,979 - £36,396 FTE)
Hours: 20 hours per week

The Dickson Poon School of Law, King's College London are seeking to recruit a Legal Clinic Administrator to help with the day-to-day administration of the Dickson Poon School of Law’s award-winning Legal Clinic, King’s Legal Clinic

The Legal Clinic Administrator will work under the Legal Clinic Manager and be expected to provide administrative support in a varied and demanding environment.

A key function will be the day-to-day administration and promotion of the Legal Clinic.  This will include working with students to deal with initial client enquiries in a range of clinics, booking appointments, supporting students in the organisation of client interviews and management of case files, managing the administration of the office in accordance with the Clinic’s policies and procedures and liaising with members of the public, the legal profession and voluntary organisations. 

The role holder must have excellent organisational, IT, and communication skills and an ability to relate to and work with a diverse range of students, partner organisations and clients.

Solicitor, Black Equity Organisation

Salary: £48-50,000
Hours: 35 hours pw -Can be worked flexibly or with compressed hours. Some out of hours working may be required. 
Contract: Permanent
Location: Central London location

Black Equity Organisation (BEO) are building their internal legal team so that they can provide targeted legal support to Black communities. They are looking to recruit a solicitor with 4 years PQE who is excited about being part of a team that will build a legal service and who can work with Black communities and be guided by them.

BEO is a civil rights charity that was set up to challenge and dismantle systemic racism. They work with Black communities by using campaigning, policy and research in conjunction with the law to effect meaningful change.
