Torfaen Citizens Advice are based in Cwmbran and Pontypool, South Wales, and serve a wide rural area.
They provide money advice and are keen to bring in pro bono lawyers in order to provide initial legal advice to clients in this deprived area of Wales.
Volunteering opportunity
Torfaen Citizens Advice are looking for pro bono volunteers with an expertise in wills and probate to provide initial advice to clients in the areas they cover. Torfaen is a rural and deprived area of South East Wales and the CA is a first port of call for many local residents looking for advice.
Torfaen CA are open to discussion of the nature of this partnership, which could look like a monthly clinic, a less regular clinic, ad-hoc appointments or Public Legal Education sessions.
Ideally volunteers would be able to travel to Cwmbran or Pontypool but volunteering can be arranged remotely if needs be.
