Volunteering opportunity
Plymouth Citizens Advice provides remote pro bono legal appointments in family and employment law, which are well‑established and in demand. We are keen to build on this existing provision by adding a new formal face‑to‑face clinic. Plus expanding the scope of the clinic to include additional areas of law.
The clinic can also operate on a hybrid basis, combining in‑person appointments with remote support where appropriate.
Time commitment
Minimum of 2 hours per month, flexible/negotiable day and time of commitment.
Location
The proposed face‑to‑face clinic will operate from Citizens Advice offices at Cobourg House in Plymouth providing an established, confidential, and accessible advice location.
Person specification
Plymouth Citizens Advice is currently looking for solicitors with a current practicing certificate with expertise in family, employment, immigration, housing and wills/probate law.
