The BULAC has been providing initial legal advice to members of the public (and staff and students) in the Bangor region on most areas of civil law since November 2024. With support from final year law students, the clinic has already provided to advice to a huge number of clients in the area, and was recognised for its' efforts at the 2025 Legal News Wales Awards.
Volunteering opportunity:
The team at BULAC are seeking qualified lawyers with experience of either family (especially child and financial arrangements), devolved Welsh housing law, or wills and probate, to volunteer providing fully remote supervision of initial advice letters drafted by students. Volunteers must also have a practicing certificate.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful clinic which is unique in its' region, and also to mentor aspiring lawyers.
Please note that the clinic runs during term-time only (October-May).
