Windrush claims

The ‘Windrush scandal’ surfaced in 2017 after it emerged that hundreds of Commonwealth citizens, many of whom were from the ‘Windrush’ generation, had been wrongly detained, deported and denied legal rights.

Delivered by Nicole Burgess and Cecilia Correale of the Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants (JCWI), this training video focusses on advising on Windrush compensation claimants.
