We are pleased to invite you to our fourth Clinics Conference, a hybrid event taking place at Herbert Smith Freehills in London
Rights of Women are a women’s charity working to help women through the law. They provide women with the legal advice and information they need to understand and use the law and their legal rights.
The St James Legal Advice Centre has clinics at Muswell Hill and Wood Green, North London, on a walk-in basis on Saturday mornings, and appointment-only clinics on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The Advice Centre offers free legal advice and support on all areas of civil law including benefits, housing, employment, consumer, debt, and land, as well as specialist immigration advice.
The Islington Legal Advice Centre provides free legal advice at weekly drop in sessions on Thursday evenings at 7pm in the Crypt of St Mary's Church on Upper Street. The service is available to Islington residents but individuals from other boroughs will not be excluded. For the past 12 months, an online service has been offered too.
St Michael's Church Camden Town, which is located close to Camden Town Tube station, facilitates a weekly legal drop in service on Wednesday evenings.
ULLAC offers free initial legal advice on certain areas of law to people in need of legal advice, who are not eligible for legal aid and cannot afford to pay. ULLAC's service is delivered remotely using Zoom or telephone. Volunteer lawyers can work from their offices and daytime or evening appointments are available.
