Mental Health and Suicide Awareness training

Delivered by trainer Meinir Evans as part of the partnership between Betsi Cadwaldr Health Board iCAN programme and Felin Fach Community Hub, this training is a helpful introduction to the subjects of mental health problems and suicidal ideation for anyone working with people in crisis.

This training will cover:

• Symptoms, signs and triggers of common mental health problems
• Self-harm and suicidal ideation, and how to have discussions around these
• Vicarious trauma and protecting your own wellbeing
• Referring on to national mental health support organisations

The training will be split into two parts with part 1 taking place on Thursday 4th May and part 2 taking place on Thursday 11th of May - both will be delivered by Zoom. We ask that delegates commit to attending both sessions.
