Summary of Service
We work with individuals, companies and community organisations to provide a free, professional and confidential legal service. We have supported clients who may struggle to find or afford legal advice. The Clinic has been able to provide its expertise in a range of areas including; family, employment, consumer and landlord and tenant disputes, as well as offering advice on creating charities and setting up companies.
This is an appointment only service. We're sorry but we get more enquiries than we can offer appointments but we will try to signpost to other resources if we can.
The BHLC Small Business Legal Clinic offers free legal advice to sole-traders, micro and small businesses, charities, social enterprises and start-up companies. The Clinic covers many of the common legal issues experienced by business-people such as managing data protection compliance, protecting intellectual property or establishing corporate structures.
The service is able to offer a limited number of face-to-face appointments.
