Summary of Service
The Migrants Rights clinic offers free preliminary advice on accommodation, social care services, and financial support for asylum seekers and other people whose immigration status is unresolved.
The clinic can offer advice to people who are applying to the Home Office for accommodation and financial support (‘Section 95’ support), people who have been placed in inadequate accommodation by the Home Office and would like to relocate, and people who
would like to ask their local authority to assess and meet their care and support needs.
Please note that we cannot advise on asylum applications or fresh claims, or
where your accommodation matter is very urgent.
If you are unsure whether we can
advise you, please contact us and a member of our team will have a discussion with you to determine
whether we can assist you.
