The University of Law offers a virtual Legal Advice Clinic for Small Businesses, which provides start-up businesses with a free 30 minute appointment to speak to a Commercial Solicitor in relation to their query. These queries may involve:
• Contract terms
• Privacy
• Shareholder entitlement
• Data protection
• Setting up a company
• Restructuring
• General Intellectual Property issues
• Trademark & registered designs
• General Patent queries
• Partnership agreements and general partnership matters
• Shareholder agreements and minority shareholder matters

This service provides initial advice only and as such the clinic is not able to undertake casework or represent clients in court.
