Summary of Service
The clinic is a collaboration between Community Law Service (Northampton and County) & Citizens Advice West Northants and Cherwell. Monthly, evening clinics are held at two alternating venues (at postcode: NN1 1LG or postcode: NN5 5LD). Clients will be advised which venue is hosting the next clinic on application.
- Clients can apply directly by emailing the clinic (as above). We also accept referrals from other agencies.
- Clients must be residing in Northamptonshire.
- If there are deadlines or hearings, these must be at least one month away.
- We ask clients to consider if other assistance might be available, such as legal aid or privately funded legal advice. On application to the clinic, clients may be directed to alternative sources of assistance to reserve the clinic for those who have no alternative means of assistance.
Advice is limited to a 30-minute appointment with a volunteer solicitor.
