Manchester Free Legal Help

In light of the current and ongoing COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, few clinics in the LawWorks Clinics Network are currently offering face-to-face advice.

The clinics listed have indicated to us that they are delivering their service online and/or by phone, or in locations face-to-face by appointment. We would recommend that you contact them directly to check their current operating procedure.

This page will be updated with details as they are made available to us.

Summary of Service

The clinic can assist with resolving your legal query by facilitating a 20-minute virtual Zoom meeting with a volunteer lawyer. As part of our students’ clinical legal education, two students will be present at the meeting to make a record of the advice provided. A copy of these notes can be provided, upon request. Virtual MFLH only provides initial, one-off advice, to assist you to take your legal matter forwards. We are not able to provide representation in any court or tribunal or to contact an opponent on your behalf. If you would like to request an appointment, please contact us at [email protected] or Complete our online form available on our website: www.socialsciences.manchester.ac.uk/legal-advice-centre/services/vmflh/
