Summary of Service
Birmingham Fraud Clinic (BFC) is a pro bono service that is part of the University of Birmingham's Law School. BFC offers monthly, hour-long appointments on a Wednesday at 2pm, during term time only. These appointments are run by law students and are supervised by qualified lawyers from Tenet Law. These appointments can be held online on Zoom or in person at The Exchange, 3 Centenary Sq. Following an appointment, students draft a letter of advice, which is approved by a qualified lawyer and the University's supervising solicitor, before being sent to the client. Clients receive this letter of advice within two weeks of their appointment.
