Summary of Service
The University of Greenwich's Legal Advice Centre aims to improve access to justice by providing free, confidential legal advice to members of the public on a range of issues. The clinic offers students the opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience designed to enhance their employability.
Please note we cannot advise all clients who approach us, for example if a case is too urgent, complex or because it involves casework or representation.
Trained law students, working under the supervision of qualified lawyers, interview clients to understand their problems and research the issues involved. Clients receive a written letter of advice after the initial interview.
