Delivered by John Sprack (barrister and former Employment Tribunal Judge). John is an experienced trainer and an author, with a wide knowledge of employment law and practice. This session will provide a summary of the main features of discrimination law in employment.
The areas covered will include:
- The protected characteristics set out in the Equality Act 2010
- Direct and indirect discrimination, including the burden of proof in discrimination cases, enforcement and remedies
- Harassment and victimisation
- Reasonable adjustments for disability
