This is the fifth session in the data protection series. The session will focus in detail on the topics of data security and retention of data.

The session will cover:

  • The requirement to keep personal data secure and what this means
  • The ‘data minimisation’ Principle, and how to determine how long to retain personal data for
  • Practical security considerations when handling personal data
