This session will focus on aspects of consumer law of relevant during Covid-19 pandemic.

Delivered by Jason Freeman, Director of Consumer Law at the Competition & Markets Authority. This session will focus on aspects of consumer law which are of particular relevance during Covid-19.

The session will cover:

  • Consumer rights for unfair terms
  • The impact of Covid-19 on consumer contracts
  • Consumer rights for distance and doorstop contracts
  • Public enforcement of consumer law
