LawWorks’ second Clinics Conference is a live online event bringing together clinic coordinators, supervisors and volunteers from different sectors, organisations and specialisms within the pro bono clinic community. Join peers and expert speakers to gain inspiration, knowledge, and grow new networks. Attendees will have the opportunity to take part in discussions that consider the role of clinics in a changing legal advice sector, contribute to conversations about pro bono and policy work, learn about tools to support the efficient and effective delivery of advice, and build new partnerships which will ensure that a strong pro bono community continues to deliver much needed services in the ‘new normal’ future.
Andrea Coomber, Director of Justice, will deliver an opening keynote on ‘Justice in a time of crisis’, and panel sessions will cover changing need, supporting volunteers, and delivering differently.
The event will take place over Zoom; please register on the link below. We look forward to welcoming you on the day!
The Conference follows from our first Clinics Conference last year on the theme "Inspiring, learning and building partnerships."
“The LawWorks Clinics Conference was a fantastic opportunity not only to learn about the clinic landscape across the UK, but also to meet individuals from the sector to share experiences, learnings and challenges. LawWorks organised a great selection of speakers who were able to provide valuable insights and advice on how to set up, improve and evaluate clinic activity, and I would encourage anyone involved in clinic work to attend their 2020 offering.”
