Under this Direction, all possession claims and proceedings are stayed for 90 days from 27th March 2020. The session will be useful for all those interested in housing rights, or advising on housing law matters. The video covers:

  • Introduction to the Practice Direction.
  • What are the exceptions to the stay under PD 51Z.
  • In what circumstances can it be lifted (with reference to the decision in Arkin v Marshall).
  • Directions and possession claims.
