The March 2018 LawWorks Clinic Network roundtable provided an overview of the GDPR which takes effect from 25 May 2018, focusing in particular on how these may impact upon independent free legal advice clinics, and provided clinic coordinators with information about:
- How to prepare for changes under the new GDPR and how to ensure current policies and procedures are compliant.
- How GDPR may potentially impact how paid staff and volunteers manage the processing of personal data when providing free legal advice to members of the public.
