Summary of Service
The UCLan Mediation Clinic’s mission is to provide civil and commercial, community and workplace mediation services to UCLan’s student community and wider local community of the North West. All areas are considered for mediation except family law matters, and, those that could potentially cause a conflict of interest with UCLan. The clinic is currently run by law school students who have undergone the Civil and Commercial mediation training course that we run. All mediations are co-mediated and are supervised by an experienced mediator. We aim to empower clients to take control of their dispute. We also offer mediation advocacy services, we have accredited International Mediation Advocates who can attend the mediation with you and can offer advice about the process and negotiate on your behalf.
