Summary of Service
The evening advice service can be very busy so your patience is appreciated; it is not guaranteed that everybody attending the clinic will be able to be seen by an adviser. It may be necessary to turn people away later during the evening. It is recommended that you arrive early to avoid disappointment. The evening clinics are organised on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis, offering initial, one-off advice given by volunteer lawyers. Your volunteer adviser may be able to advise you on how to resolve your issue during the interview itself; or afterwards (if they decide they need to do some follow-up work). Please note: The volunteer advisers cannot represent you or take on your case.
