Summary of Service
The clinic aims to advise members of the public on their legal position and the options available to them. The clinic provides an end to end service in matters relating to Personal Independence Payments. The clinic will assist in a variety of ways including: Drafting written Legal Advice Letters setting out eligibility for PIP and next steps; Initiating a claim which involves filling in a PIP Claim Form received from the Department for Work and Pensions; Preparation for Face-to-Face Assessment; Appeals: challenging a decision by requesting a (i) Mandatory Reconsideration; and (ii) Appealing to a Tribunal or Upper Tribunal. An appointment can be made over the phone, by email or through the website.
