If you have a debt or consumer dispute not involving council tax or housing benefit, you can receive help through the ‘Dalston Pop-up’ free legal advice service. Please call the advice line on 020 7633 4531 and leave a message with your name and contact details. A law student will call you back during office hours. If your case is suitable, an appointment will be made with a volunteer lawyer on a Tuesday evening between 6pm and 8pm at Dalston CLR James Library. The lawyer will provide you with a letter of advice and discuss it with you at the appointment. Please note: Debt advice is advise where the amount owed / liability is disputed. Any caller who are struggling to meet repayment demands will be signposted to specialist debt advice charities.
