Summary of Service
The clinic offers a free, reliable telephone service to those with legal difficulties, providing initial legal advice to those in need and practical legal experience to the University of Law’s students. The service is offered by the University of Law in association with volunteer lawyers from firms in the local area. All students from the University of Law are supervised by qualified University staff and the lawyers involved in the project. The clinic appointment is a half hour telephone advice service on an employment law matter. If you are offered an appointment, you will be telephoned by a volunteer solicitor, who will ask you further questions they feel are necessary and provide you with appropriate advice on your matter.
