LawWorks Peer Mediation - Course Leaders

The course has been designed by Janine Edge, assisted by Jackie Miller and a working group of LawWorks professional mediators.  The case studies and mediation enactment used in the training have been specially created for the LawWorks course.  Dr. Leonardo Raznovich has assessed, and will continue to monitor, the course.

Thanks are given to The Peace Foundation of New Zealand who have provided film clips showing peer mediators at work and shared their 20 years of experience of teaching mediation in schools.

Janine Edge (MA (Cantab.), MSc) (left) is a practising mediator accredited with Regent's College School of Psychotherapy and Counselling and the ADR Group.  Formerly she was Visiting Fellow in Organisational Psychology at Nottingham Law School and Partner and Head of the Financial Services Unit at law firm Slaughter and May.

Jackie Miller MA, Cert Ed is a practising mediator accredited with the ADR Group and Regents College School of Psychotherapy and Counselling. Formerly she was Assistant Head in a West London comprehensive school and has 25 years experience as a teacher, in-service trainer and school governor.

Dr Leonardo Raznovich (LLB (UBA), LLM (Harvard), DPhil (Oxon)) (right) is a practising mediator, accredited with CEDR and the ADR Group.  He has also practised law in the private sector in the areas of litigation, international arbitration and corporate law.  He is Principal Lecturer and Head of Law and Dispute Resolution at Canterbury Christ Church University.
