LawWorks Choices

The LawWorks Choices Project has been designed to enable unemployed solicitors take part in pro bono work, whilst seeking permanent employment.  Opportunities available include advising in LawWorks Clinics, placements within community groups, writing factsheets for individuals and community groups, and also involvement in other LawWorks projects.  Benefits of the scheme to the solicitor include a reduced membership fee, access to free CPD accredited training, and the possibility of professional indemnity insurance and a practising certificate.
 
There is also a Guaranteed Interview Scheme, open to those volunteers who complete 40 hours of pro bono work through the Choices project.  Further details on this, and how to join the project, are available at www.lawworkschoices.org.uk
