Application Form

Are you a small business affected by the riots?  As a result of the riots do you need free legal help?

If so, you firstly need to complete the application form below.  An asterisk [*] against a box indicates a mandatory field.

This scheme is intended to try to provide help and assistance for small businesses that have been affected by the recent riots across England. Initial practical guidance and information may be given over the phone or by email and, where appropriate, LawWorks will try to source a volunteer lawyer to help small businesses that do not have access to legal advice and cannot afford to pay for it.

Please note that this scheme is specifically set up to address legal issues arising from the recent riots.  We are currently unable to assist other small businesses.

If your application is approved by LawWorks, we will do our best to secure for your organisation the assistance of a legal advisor able to assist on a pro bono basis i.e. with no charge for solicitors' fees. The legal advisor may ask you for certain documents (e.g. to prove your identity) before they are able to assist. You should note that, in some cases, we may not be able to find a volunteer advisor for you. LawWorks reserves the right to reject any application.

Data Protection Statement:  By submitting this application form you consent to us circulating the information submitted (which may include personal data about the individual or individuals designated as the contact person or persons for the organisation in need of legal assistance) to legal advisors who may be able to assist.

LawWorks operates a policy on behaviour which is deemed unacceptable.  The full policy is available on our website.
