On 10 March 2009 the material was officially launched at Kaplan Law School.  You can see Martin's presentation at the launch event, here.

Everyone is free to embed the video elsewhere on the web. For example:

  • On a student pro bono group site

Feel free to use the footage in any way you please and help spread the word about student pro bono and how people can get involved.

The Conference

Saturday, 1 November 2008 saw the LawWorks Student Conference take place at Nottingham Law School.

The conference was aimed at law students and law school staff and covered many topics relating to student pro bono activities.  It also incorporated the 3rd Annual Nottingham Pro Bono Lecture, delivered by Andrew Phillips (Lord Phillips of Sudbury).

A copy of the conference programme can be downloaded here.

Sponsorship

We remain indebted to our event sponsors (listed below).  The sponsorship enabled us to cover the conference costs, as well as enabling us to engage Human Rights TV in the filming of the event.  We were also able to offer to a travel bursary, which covered 100% of travel costs for all those students who attended and claimed their costs.

Thanks again to all of our generous sponsors.
