If you would like free online legal advice, you may like to register for our Initial Electronic Advice service. IEA is an online system which provides answers from qualified solicitors to brief legal questions.
LawWorks fact-sheets give general information to groups on specific areas of law, to enable them to spot and avoid potential legal problems. We have fact-sheets on employment law, corporate structure and charity law, intellectual property, data protection, tax and property.
Is your organisation involved in a dispute?
Mediation may be an effective way of resolving your issue. An independant mediator can provide an objective viewpoint and help settle situations to the satisfaction of both parties. LawWorks has a free Mediation project - please see more information below.
If your issue involves a dispute with the Charity Commission, please read this article for more information on your options.
If you are a community group looking for a volunteer to assist in a legal capacity, please contact Natalie Marsden for more information on how we can assist.
